Value-Based Health Care
Objectives
The course provides the necessary tools for the future physicians to be able to understand the concept and the implications of the concept of Value-Based Health Care (VBHC), and to be prepared to work effectively in contexts of VBHC delivery, or even lead, within health care organizations, the transformation that the implementation of the concept of VBHC in the field requires.

Teaching method
The classes are theory-practical classes and are 2 hours long. The classes have an exposition component and an interactive component. The course combines the discussion of theoretical concepts with a strong practical side supported by the discussion of real examples and case studies. The students are required to have an active participation in class.
Evaluation method
The final exam is a multiple-choice exam. It is mandatory and covers the entire spam of the course. The weight of the final exam is 50% of the final grade. The remainder of the evaluation consists of class participation and attendance (10%) and field work (40%).
