Problematics of History - 1st semester

Objectives

Students are expected to develop the following competences:
• an in-depth knowledge of the most relevant and up-to-date theoretical debates in the field of historical studies;
• ability to choose a field of expertise and to plan and conduct the work inherent to this course, as well as to use such competences in her/his own personal research;
• ability to be intellectually creative in the development of scientific ideas and the answering to the main research questions;
• ability to take advantage of the main funding opportunities for collaborative research, at the international level, in the field of the social sciences and the humanities;
• ability to contribute to the advancement of knowledge through her/his research.
