Phonology - 2nd semester

Objectives

a) Briefly describe the history of phonetic and phonological studies;
b) Identify and describe the physical (articulatory and acoustic) properties of speech sounds;
c) Understand the relationship between speech sounds and their mental representation;
d) Describe the internal structure of phonological units;
e) Describe and represent frequent phonological processes in Portuguese.
