Problems of History and Theory of Ideas - 1st semester
Objectives
With this discipline it is intended that the student be able to:
1) Understand the complexity of the various conceptions of the History of Ideas, through the confrontation with its multiple approaches.
2) To develop a critical thinking about the main tendencies of the History of Culture and, at the same time, to relate them to the new conceptions of the History of Ideas.
3) Perceive the contribution of the History of Political Ideas to a reflection on the importance of the History of Ideas in understanding the transformations of the political culture of modernity.
4) To value the importance of the History of Political Ideas in the construction of the identities and memories of the contemporary world, taking into account the complex relation between the past and the present existing within the collective representations.
