Teaching method

Lectures introducing the major topics of the course, and discussion of selected texts or papers presented by the students.

Evaluation method

Evaluation of papers presented by the students. Two examinations tests, written in the classroom. The first one will take place at mid-term; the second one will take place at the end of the term. Students may also enroll for a final examination, in order to improve their marks.

Constitutional models: Britain, United States, France, Germany. The State and the Constitution. Constitutional Theory. Portuguese Constitutional History. The Portuguese Constitution of 1976.
