Objectives

a) Using several resources and strategies for teaching Geography.
b) recognize the usefulness of planning education.
c) Apply certain models of planning in specific courses.
d) Understand the meaning of individual and social assessment.
e) Exercising various assessment tools.
f) Develop tests in Geography.
g) To be aware of the social importance of the teaching role.

Teaching method

Lectures (50%) and tutorials (50%). Tutorials consist of:
Development of lesson activities.
Individual and/or group problem solving.
Development of teaching materials
Teaching units planning and assessment

Evaluation method

Evaluation:
a) Classroom work (20%)
b) Two assessment tools (40%).
c) Individual work. Presentation of a methodology to be used in a teaching context and the relevant materials
for that/those lesson(s) (40%). Work should contain a brief theoretical discussion and materials to implement
this methodology with students
