- Analyze the fundamental theoretical concepts related to Intangible Cultural Heritage
- Know the most relevant legislation
- Reflect on the many ways to educate through intangibility and knowledge transmitted
- Analyze and identify how to preserve intangible testimonies
- Criticizing methodologies and problems in the processes of Intangible Heritage
- Know some manifestations of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Portugal
- Reflect on a few specific groups and communities

Teaching method

60% of lectures and 40% practical classes. Practical classes consist of:
Questioning of theoretical information, analysis of legislation and some manifestations of Intangible Cultural
Heritage in Portugal.

Evaluation method

Discussion on theoretical and practical issues.
Preparation of three small individual written reflections on topics covered in class.
Individual written work about a syllabus´ subject.
