Teaching method
The training lasts for 800 hours of work, being supervised by a representative of the institution.
Evaluation method
The training itself will not be subject to an evaluation, but the supervisor at host institution will prepare a report about the internship. The written report and its defense will be subject to a public evaluation before a jury.
Subject matter
The internship takes place in a public or private institution with which FCSH or NOVA IMS has established an agreement and ensures the performance of relevant professionals tasks, involving the application of theoretical and practical skills acquired in the course curriculum.
It is framed by a training plan, set by a responsible of the host institution, by a FCSHs or NOVA IMS supervisor and the student; the supervisor should validate the training plan according to the objectives assigned to this modality.
The training report includes the characterization of the host institution, the nature of the work, the specific tasks undertaken by the student, the suggested theoretical or methodological problems, comments about the chosen options and examples of the work done. The master student must also prepare the public discussion of the results.
