Internship with report in Aesthetics and Artistic Studies - Cinema and Photography
Objectives
It is intended that the student will:
1. Mobilize and apply scientific knowledge and soft skills to work being developed in a professional context.
2. Acquire / develop some of the skills required by the labor market, such as communication skills, teamwork,
leadership skills and selfresponsibility.
3. Promote independence and encourage creativity and innovation in response to the demands of a professional
work environment.
4. Reflect on the work performed on the internship and on the practices of the institution of probation, departing
from of the theoretical and methodological knowledge acquired in the academic part of the MA, and develop a
practical output for the benefit of that institution.

Depends on the subject of each research. Students are specially encouraged and trained to work from the start
with accredited bibliographical digital resources of the scientific field.
Teaching method
The training and the writing of the report implies 800 hours of work, being supervised by a representative of the
institution.
Evaluation method
The training itself will not be subject to numerical evaluation, but the local supervisor delivers a report on the trainees performance. The work done by the student will be subject to a reflective report to be evaluated with public defense, under supervision of the FCSH tutor(s).
Subject matter
The internship takes place in a public or private institution with which FCSH has established an agreement and
ensures the performance of relevant professionals tasks, involving the application of theoretical and practical
skills acquired in the course curriculum.
It is framed by a training plan, set by a responsible of the host institution, by a FCSHs supervisor and the
student; FCSH supervisor should validate the plan according to the objectives assigned to the nonteaching
component of the course.
The probation report includes the characterization of the host institution, the nature of working together, the
specific tasks undertaken for the development of this work and the portion that fell to him in these tasks, the
suggested theoretical or methodological problems, any comments on the options chosen and Annex, examples of materials made. The graduate student must also prepare the public discussion of the results.
