Presentation by the students in the Ph.D. program in Statistics and Risk Assessment on a topic related with their research activities. These activities are intended to be related either with their Master thesis, or, preferably, with the studies they are undertaking or will undertake towards the realization of their Ph.D. Thesis.

The evalualtion of Seminario de Investigação I consists in a grade between 0 and 20, based on two elements:

  1. Oral communication of the theme studied. The communication should not exceed 40 minutes and will be followed by a discussion. 
  2. Report of the communication which should not exceed 20 pages.
