Evaluation method

The non-laboratory classroom classes are raditional Theoretical classes. The story is exposed with the support of Power Point or Keynote presentations and appropriate movie viewing.

Lab classes cover cation groups and a final session to identify an unknown sample.

The CU evaluation requires students to attend all practical and theoretical classes.

The final grade will result from the continuous assessment throughout the practical and theoretical classes and the presentation of a poster (size A0) with the results obtained from Practical Work 6.

The laboratory notebook, laboratory performance, the questionnaires performed, the quality of the poster and its oral presentation are all evaluated.

Theoretical Classes

1. Qualitative Analytical Chmenistry determines the presence of spcecificspecies in a sample.

 2. Systematic analysis of a solution: identifcation and separation of anions and cations.

3. Systematic analysis of cations

4. Group Reagent notion.

Classification and separation of cations in diferent groups.

Specific Reaction of each group

Characterisation reaction of each cation
