Solid Waste Treatment Plant Design
Objectives
disposal of waste in a place whose topography is real in order to apply academic knowledge to a real project built or to be built, enabling it to realize how will practice their future professional life. At the end of this course students are expected to have recovered knowledge from previous years and acquired new skills for application in the project, particularly in the area of geotechnical engineering, geology and civil and sanitary engineering. It also aimed to promote students'''''''' visits to works identical in operation to confrontation with the raw exposed, remove doubts and adjust reality to the concepts acquired.

Teaching method
The method of teaching is carried out in lectures and practical classes, with the design and implementation of a project implementation (taken from real situation) assigned to it. It is continuously monitoring the student to clarify doubts, to consolidate knowledge, we discuss design concepts and transmit to students the technical approaches needed to develop the work, in similarity to the future professional life outside university. Assessment is continuous, for final test and oral presentation and technical discussion on the draft implementation already designed in the context of future professional life.
Evaluation method
Assessment is continuous, for two test and oral presentation and technical discussion on the draft implementation already designed in the context of future professional life. The final classification is obtained by CF = AC (20%) + T(20%) + PE and final discussion (60%) where CF is the final grade of 20 ; AC = continuous assessment, T= test and PE=project execution.
