Capacity of analysis on the Information and Knowledge Society

Information about approaches on technology and production systems, on working conditions and job design in automated environments and the concept of Industry 4.0

Knowledge of issues around conflict negociation and agreements, and emergence of new vocational profiles in the information society.

Teaching method

Along the semestre there will happen several thematic seminars that will need the students participation. These seminars can be given by external experts  (to the faculty) or even foreign experts.

Some classes will have the presentation and discussion of films or case studies.

When necessary, the classes will be given in English (it depends when there are or not ERASMUS students).

In all classes internet access will  be usedfor information sites of relevancy and for simulation of individual and group work (data bases, access to on line bibliography)

Evaluation method

b) final examination

if a) then a written report or a research paper must be organised and the topics discussed with the teacher (± 30 pages).

everyone much be enrolled at the Moodle webpage of the discipline.

it must also write analysis on scientific articles related with the programme. It would be a theoretical paper on a chosen topic discussed with the supervisor, or a research paper with data analysis.

participation in the classes and tutorial meetings: 20%
