Information Systems Governance

Objectives

1. Develop top Information Systems Managers/CIO's with higher knowledge regarding multiple themes associated to IT organizational units
2. Design Information Systems plans based on medium term vision
3. Enable change management processes, always present in a strategic vision of a top manager role
4. Leverage the capability to relate with multiple entities (internal and external from the organization), which are key in strategic factors in medium and long term

Teaching method

This course will be leaded by theoretical and practical sessions, associated with few sets of individual and group workings papers. It will include some guest that will participate in the session, presenting some of their cases.

Evaluation method

Evaluation:
- Development of an IS Strategic Plan document and presenting to the class (40%)
- Individual Exam (30%)
- Working papers of articles (15%)
- Participation in classes (15%)
