PostGraduate in Digital Enterprise Management

Education objectives

Organizations, seeking high levels of competitiveness, profitability and productivity in a more global and digitalized economy, must have proper and increasingly sophisticated management tools, solutions and skills. The paradigm change, due to the availability of infrastructures, platforms and software delivered “as a service” is providing a faster and easier access to technologies, which were available only to some organizations, and accelerate new ways of governance with less costs or investments.

 Presently, in Europe, there are increasing discussions and resolutions to implement a Digital Single Market and locally, as in Portugal, the Digital Agenda. Aligned with European Commission’ strategic plan Europe 2020, the “digital transformation” of the organizations is growing, demanding new management skills to take advantage of the information management enabled by these new technologies and distribution models.

 The Postgraduate Program in Digital Enterprise Management, developed in partnership with Google, SAP and IDC, answers to the need of a higher education of managers as leaders of the “digital transformation” in their organizations.

It is aimed at managers and professionals who wish to deepen their project management skills in business transformation, based in new digitalization models and information systems. Among the potential candidates we highlight the 1st and 2nd level managers of medium-sized and big enterprises, systems integrators and consulting companies, and IT and IS professionals.

This postgraduate program aims to:

- Prepare managers to be in charge of the “digital transformation” in their organizations, and become the change drivers in processes, organization and human resources;

- Help in the selection and prioritization of the adequate technological solutions and distribution models to accelerate the profitability and productivity in the organizations;

- Offer the students clear access to state of the art of reference suppliers of technologies and distribution models that leverage the digital transformation.
