Teaching method
Every module will have a theoretical component, which can be complemented by tasks that call for theoretical problematization or data/material/document analysis. For each module the student must submit a short written assignment, which includes a review of the state of the art regarding the theme under consideration (the proposal can be adapted each academic year, in accordance to the specific nature of the modules offered). The final grade will result from the mean of the grades obtained in each module.
Evaluation method
The final grade will result from the mean of the grades obtained in each module(100%)
Subject matter
The modules offered in each academic year focus on specific themes within the various sub-fields of research in Linguistics. The diversity of content that is offered aims to cover different needs and interests: cutting-edge themes, that are at the center of current debates in different sub-fields; themes that articulate relevant topics related to different sub-fields and contribute to the development of interdisciplinary approaches; themes that meet the need to complement training in specific sub-fields and take into account different profiles. Each student will select the modules s/he wishes to attend according to her/his academic path and research interests. This choice will always be monitored and validated by the respective tutor.
