Territorial Planning
Objectives
a) To master the conceptual support of spatial planning;
b) To understand the complexity of spatial planning in a context of uncertainty and multi-level governance;
c) To master the theory in spatial planning and the methodologies and tools of territorial planning;
d) To enhance the legislative framework of spatial planning policy (from the EU at local level) in conjunction with the political-administrative structure;
e) To be able to interpret problems in the field of spatial planning and contribute to the design of solutions in different territorial realities (areas and metropolitan regions, urban areas, protected natural areas, island territories);
f) To design a critical thinking about spatial planning policy in Portugal.
