Objectives

It is intended that throughout the practical work the student acquires the following objectives and general skills:
- Acquire experience of practical work in archaeology, either in the field or in the laboratory, in various contexts and chronologies;
- Contact with other professionals in the context of practical training;
- Master the skills of analysis and execution of reports of archaeological works;
- Be able to critically analyze the experience of practical work in archaeology throughout the degree and make considerations about different approaches and methodologies of work.

Subject matter

Within the Archaeology Training CU, students must do 280 hours of practical archaeological work (in excavations, surveys, laboratory, etc.). For evaluation purposes, these should be carried out within the framework of the work carried out by faculty professors or registered with the FCSH.
