Objectives

a) To acquire translation skills into the foreign language in the field of Social Sciences
and Humanities;
b) To develop linguistic proficiency in written German;
c) To analyze the specific characteristics of various texts;

Analyzing and translating texts from Portuguese into German, correcting texts
translated by fellow students, systematizing of translation knowledge in general and
of technical texts in particular, creating conceptually organized glossaries, seeking
examples of scientific translations, tests, correction of tests.
Reflection on the translation process and strategies.
