a) To improve and master the theoretical framework and key concepts about Translation Studies.
b) To acquire and improve critical skills to discuss different translation projects in an interdisciplinary way.

Teaching method

The teaching method is mainly reflexive and oriented to the issues which make up the contents of the seminar. In the first phase, which is both theoretical and practical in nature, the seminars will cover the critical analysis of research work in Translation Studies. In the second phase, which is essentially practical in nature, the students will be supervised (individually or in small groups) during the execution of the final piece of work.

Evaluation method

oral presentation and discussion of the written work (35%), participation in the analysis and discussion of texts and tasks (15%), written presentation of a short piece of research work in Translation Studies, individually or in small groups depending on the number of students in the class(50%)
