Analog Circuit Optimization

Objectives

The objective of this course is to introduce students to methods and tools in different phases of the project of analog integrated circuits. Methodologies for circuit knowledge extraction, at the electrical level.

Algorithms for optimal design of circuits.

Tools to develop the layout masks. Integration of high precision models for circuit elements (e.g. BSIM). Methods of evaluating the performance of circuits.

The student will develop the ability to apply the methodologies taught, to specific circuit topologies, working in a team and autonomously. It analysed the students'''''''''''''''' ability in writing and oral presentation of the developed work.
