The student should be able to acquire competences in the research area of forensic chemistry and the comprehension of the way of analyzing the chemical evidence of drugs, combustion, DNA and ID.

Due to the state of emergency period during the semester, the mode of teaching is as follows.
Theoretical classes online with exposure of the subject based on slides.
2 P classes are foreseen (can be changed if there are changes to the deconfiguration program).
In the 2 PO classes, situations of arson and adulteration of a commercial food product are simulated. Students work in groups of three. On the arson they write a report and on the adulteration of food products, a note.
Theoretical component (70%) - two tests (average ≥ 9.5) or exam note with ≥ 9.5 values.
Practical component (30%) - mandatory attendance of practical classes held one report and one note (overall score ≥ 9.5). It consists in the frequency.
(Performance in the Lab -__%; Report - __%, Note - __%. Values to be defined according to the possible number of practical works to be carried out (due to the contingency required by the 2021 confinement).
The exam can be used as grade improvement of the average of the two tests, and will average to note the frequency for the final classification
