Master in Medical Microbiology

Education objectives

The general objective of the Master in Medical Microbiology is to train students to become experts in the field. It uses a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach, combining theoretical and practical training, that provides its graduates with capabilities in the application of the most advanced laboratory diagnostics technologies, microbiological testing, inspection and quality assurance in microbiology laboratories.

Career opportunities

Advanced training in Medical Microbiology will provide access to a more advanced scientific and technology development corresponding to a Doctorate(3rd cycle).

It can also provide access to areas of research and development (R&D) in national or European public health sectors, particularly in:

Medical centers and hospitals;
Clinical, veterinary, and research laboratories;
Public health.
