Education objectives

Knowledge and comprehension at a level which: holding on to the knowledge level of the 1st cycle, the develop and deepen; enable and constitutes the basis of development and or original applications, in many cases in a context of research.

Application of knowledge and understanding, solve problems in new and unfamiliar situations, in broad contexts, although related to the economy.

Ability to integrate knowledge, dealing with complex issues, develop solutions or issue judgments in situations of limited or incomplete information, including reflections on the ethical and social implications and responsibilities arising out of these solutions and these judgments or condition.

Communicate findings, knowledge and reasoning underlying them, clearly and without ambiguity.

Holders of Evidence especially suitable aimed at Assessing the ability for the frequency of higher education for over 23 years

The evaluation for the frequency of higher education by the age of 23 years aim to provide access to higher education to show own competencies for the frequency of a course of 1st cycle.

If completed 23 years until 31 December of the year preceding the completion of the evidence and does not have access for a particular qualification course of 1st cycle, can subscribe to the New SBE, to perform the test and obtain that license.

This competition can apply those approved in evidence especially suitable to assess the ability to attend higher education.

Degree pre-requisites

The Degrees in Economics and Management are structured in semesters. Each each/discipline corresponds to a number of ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits. When the course is successfully attended, the student is assigned the corresponding number of ECTS.
All subjects last every six months.
For the granting of the Bachelor's degree, registration is mandatory in at least semesters of school and which are respected as rules contained in the following points:
(a) obtaining a total number of credits between a 180 ECTS (minimum) and 195 ECTS (maximum);
b) Frequency with use or dispensation to all Mandatory Chairs.
c) Meeting the Internationalization Requirement.
d) Obtaining 22.5 ECTS elective scans, where 15 ECTS must be from the course area
e) Frequency with use or exemption of the Specialist module (mandatory requirement only for students with admission from 2014/15).
