Objectives

Learning outcomes of the curricular unit 

1. Identify health problems most pertinent to underserved populations, and characterize these problems in terms of measurable health indicators. 

2. Propose programs for managing and controlling these disorders and evaluate the impact of such programs. 

3. Evaluate and participate in field research programs related to health problems in underserved populations 

4. Produce written reports of research or programmatic findings, related to health problems in underserved populations

Teaching method

Teaching methodologies

3. Evaluate health programs in underserved populations. 

4. a) one group work presentation in class (40%) a) one essay of 10 pages on a topic to be agreed between the teacher and student (60%).
