The primary function of the seminar course is to enrich the students with a variety of topics in the field of Nutrition and Metabolism research, by knowledge and experience sharing with invited researchers/speakers.

Teaching method
The seminar is clearly of a work-in-progress nature and, therefore, the focus of the teaching-learning system is student-centered. There is an intense exchange of ideas and points of view, and the teacher/speaker assumes a role assumes a role of facilitator and instigator in the discussion (primus inter pares).
Evaluation method
The assessment shall focus on:
a) Participation in seminars (50%);
b) Development of a peer review for one the delivered seminars (randlomly assigned to the students; 50%)
