All students should actively participate in these discussions by submitting updates on their project and commenting on their peers' projects.
Evaluation method
Evaluation Methodologies - Final work(75%), participation in class discussions and oral presentation(25%)
Subject matter
In Applied Human Ecology there is no curriculum content. The main objective is to support students in developing their research project, choosing the methodological tools to use and collecting information.
In the first sessions each student should present (in pitch format) their project to their classmates. The other sessions will be used to discuss with students the progress of their research project and to solve questions about options to take or directions to lead it. In the last sessions the students will have about 20m to present their project to their colleagues, followed by 15m of discussion. For the assessment each student must submit a draft of the theoretical part of their dissertation in order to leave the last semester to develop the empirical one.
Researchers, namely PhD researchers, will be invited to present their projects and share their experience in the elaboration and conduction of research projects.
