Teaching method
The internship has a duration of 800 hours and will be jointly supervised by a representative of the host institution and a teaching staff of the FCSH. The external tutor will be in direct contact with the FCSH supervisor during the entire period of training and send a short report on how the internship took place. A work plan to be done by the student will be discussed previously to the internships starts: It must be articulated with the content of the teaching component along with their purpose and application in a professional context.
Evaluation method: The dissertation must be defended and evaluated in a public exam. A final grade, expressed as a number between 10 and 20 on a scale of 0 to 20 and equivalent to 55 ECTS is awarded. This grade will contribute to 60% of the final grade of the Master’s degree.

Subject matter
The internship takes place in a public or private institution with which FCSH has established an agreement and ensures the performance of relevant professional tasks, involving the application of theoretical and practical
skills acquired in the course curriculum. It is framed by a training plan, set by a superviser from the host institution, by a FCSH’s supervisor and by the student; the FCSH supervisor must validate the plan according to the objectives assigned to the non-teaching component of the course.
The internship report includes the characterization of the host institution, the nature of the work, the specific tasks undertaken for the development of this work and the trainee contribution to those tasks, theoretical or methodological problems, comments on the options chosen and, in attachment, examples of documents and other materials made by the student during his/her internship.
