Classes will demand both lecture and debate. Students are expected to be active both in the blog and in class. There will be a final paper and/or a presential test.

The three main stages of publishing. What is a book? What is an editor? What is a publisher? Types of publishing and platforms. The multiple partners working a book. Text and paratext. Inside job and outside job. Present and future of editing & publishing.
