Work sessions are based on an initial presentation by the instructor or by invited experts in the field (who will share their research experience) and on open or guided discussions, organized around previously indicated texts. It is intended that classes will be enlivened through student participation in a class-wide debate, as a way to provide more active and participatory learning and to promote reasoned critical reflection.
Evaluation Methodologies - 1. Participation in the debates and activities promoted in the framework of the seminar (15%), 2. A critical report (3-5 pages) on one of the seminar sessions(15%), 3. A critical essay (10-15 pages) on a topic desirably related to the methodological options of the doctoral dissertation project. This paper will be presented and discussed in a special session organized for this purpose(70%)
The syllabus, besides a set of main permanent topics, will be adjusted in each editionof the course to the students' interests and projects, so that the seminar will make a relevant contribution to the realization of the doctoral dissertation.
