Objectives

a) The ability to carry out an original research in the scientific area of Portuguese Studies.
b) The ability to organize and handle relevant information exhaustively.
c) The ability to create and try out new critical methods or work methods.
d) The ability to conceive, design, adapt and carry out research in the field of Portuguese studies in compliance with the requirements imposed by the academic quality and integrity standards.
e) To undertake significant body of original research that contributes to extending the frontiers of knowledge, some of which merits national or international dissemination in scientifically recognized publications.
