Objectives

to Identify, access and characterize Digital Information Sources;
• to Determine the extent and effectively and efficiently access the necessary information
• to Critically evaluate information and Digital Information Sources by selecting the appropriate
• to Use individually or in a group the information necessary for a particular purpose
• to Manage (store, retrieve, apply) Digital Information Sources;
• to Use specialized software to manage bibliographic references;
• to Write texts using information obtained from Digital Information Sources.
• to Understand economic, legal and social aspects related to the use of information and Digital Information Sources,
using them in an ethical and legal way
• to Identify and reflect on ethical dilemmas raised by Digital Information Sources in the digital society

Teaching method

Teaching methods will be diversified, adapted to the two main themes and involve:
• Theoretical-practical approach.
• Search, managing and using scientific information
• Discussion and critical analysis of texts and audiovisual material
The MOODLE platform will be used to support collaborative activities, availability of digital resources, etc.

Evaluation method

Assessment and Evaluation will comprise:
• Use of the MOODLE Platform, bibliographic management software and other digital resources
• Essay on Digital Information Sources, including both a scientifically written text and a and a critical and
descriptive memory of the process of its elaboration
• Oral presentation and discussion of one of the topics
• Presentation of a written paper on the same topic
• Classroom engagement
