PostGraduate in Smart Cities

Education objectives

The importance of urban intelligence in constructing cities is now an indisputable reality. Smart cities, able to respond in an integrated manner and in real time to different urban challenges, cities that promote inclusive and efficient solutions in the use of resources but that also generate added value and create new markets.

The Postgraduate Program in Smart Cities aims to prepare professionals able to participate in the construction of analytical cities by developing innovative solutions of collection, processing and analysis of city data to promote a better governance in parallel with a more active and participatory citizenship.

With the proposed study plan, this innovative Postgraduate Program is set on a modern structure that combines the several fields that support the information systems of the Smart Cities with the real challenge that the construction entails.

Tlo earn the postgraduate program diploma in Smart Cities, students must complete 60 ECTS.

Conditions of admittance

To enter this program, applicants must meet the following requirements: hold a bachelor’s degree in a compatible field (completed by September 2021); be proficient in English (spoken and written).
