Teaching method

1. Practical voice and movement classes led by the teacher.

2. Open classes with the participation of invited experts.

3. Group work: vocal and body exploration, performance activities (interpretation and improvisation).

4. Rehearsals of repertoire.

5. Simulation of voice and movement activities for children.

6. Analysis and discussion of vocal and movement situations based on supporting documents of different nature.

Evaluation method

Assessment - Conducting, in pairs, a pilot study on vocal expression and movement aiming at the analysis of one dialogue in "Gibberish"(30%), Summative document of the work done throughout the semester.(70%)

Subject matter

1. Vocal and movement practice. Molik-Parente's alphabet of the body. From free exploration to tonal and rhythmic improvisation in solo and group activities. 

2. Sensoriality and rhythms of the body. The use of metaphor and memories in writing the body.

3. Group dynamics games and musical activities aiming its application with children of different age groups.

3.1. Assembling scenic-musical repertoire based on the Grande Bichofonia project.

4. Introduction to research in the study of movement and vocal expression. Theoretical perspectives and instruments of observation and behavior analysis.
