Bibliography

a) Practical session protocols;
b) Manual for Report Elaboration and Treatment of Experimental Results;
c) Guide to the expression of uncertainty in measurement (GUM);
d) References given on the Lab protocols and Manual.

Teaching method

Exposure of concepts.

Assisted laboratory experimentation.

Evaluation method

The evaluation has 3 components: reports of the experimental studies, online questionnaires and collaborative participation, challenge and final presentation.

The final grade is calculated by the following expression NF = 0.4 Nr + 0.2 Nq + 0.4 Na with partial notes rounded at the decimal.

A grade of 0 is given in case a student misses a laboratory class and respective report. However, one laboratory class will be specifically for students with a justification of not-presence.
