Education objectives

The specialization in Marketing Intelligence is now part of the Master Program in Data Driven Marketing. iIt aims to train managers, technical staff and other marketing professionals to lead and guide the collection, compilation, analysis and dissemination of marketing information in organizations.  It is aimed also at Information Systems managers.

The program provides a balanced curriculum with two components: one based on tools and methodologies of marketing management, and the other supported by methodologies and techniques of information analysis and management. 

The goal of this program is to train technical staff and managers to:

- Develop strategies, methods and tools of marketing management;

- Be aware of client behavior and create relationship policies;

- Master the processes and tools used for the storage, organization and access to marketing information in organizations;

- Use the several methodologies and tools of exploration and analysis, in order to reduce the levels of uncertainty related to solving marketing problems.

To complete the application, the applicant must register in NOVA IMS' Applications Portal, fill the form, upload their Curriculum Vitae, pay the application fee (€ 51), and submit the application in the end from June 21st to July 21st, 2022. The selection process is based on the analysis of the applicant's academic and professional curriculum.

Degree pre-requisites

For the conclusion of the curricular component, it is necessary to obtain a minimum of 60 ECTS (credit units). The curricular component of the program includes two semesters, that corresponds to a postgraduate program diploma.

To earn the Master degree program in Data Driven Marketing, with a specialization in Marketing Intelligence, the student must develop a scholarly thesis, work project or a professional internship, carried out in the third semester.
