Slides from theoretical lectures, exercise book and previous year’s exams available on Moodle.
Teaching method
Theoretical lectures and practical sessions with pre-assigned problems.
Evaluation method
The Final Examination is mandatory and should cover the whole subject. The weight of the final exam should represent between 30 and 70%. The remaining weight may include participation in classes, intermediate tests, and/or other tests. In total, the evaluation performed in the classroom (final exam, intermediate test) must have a weight of at least 50%.
The evaluation will be made taking into account the grade obtained in 2 intermediate tests, and a final written examination.
The final grade will be obtained by combining the above-mentioned evaluations in the following proportions: 15%+15% tests, 70% examination.
The minimum score in the Final Exam is 8 values.
Normal Season
Continuous assessment elements (and respective weights): 30% Final examination (and respective weighting): 70% Continuous evaluation is mandatory, except for grade improvement.
Resource Season Continuous evaluation (and respective weights) if the appeal examination does not count 100%: 30% Final exam (with respective weighting): 70% Continuous evaluation is optional. If the teachers are not notified by the day before the exam, the final grade with continuous evaluation is considered.
Improvements in Normal Season Continuous evaluation (and respective weights) if the appeal examination does not count 100%: 30% Final exam (with respective weighting): 70% Continuous evaluation is optional. If the teachers are not notified by the day before the exam, the final grade with continuous evaluation is considered.
Feature Season Improvements Continuous evaluation (and respective weights) if the appeal examination does not count 100%: 30% Final exam (with respective weighting): 70% Continuous evaluation is optional. If the teachers are not notified by the day before the exam, the final grade with continuous evaluation is considered.
