Objectives
On completion of this course, a student should have gained knowledge and understanding in: how individual differences in
values, personality, and background can affect team functioning; approaches to motivating and aligning employee
performance; strategies for performance evaluation and feedback; designing and implementing effective teams; using
different types of power to influence others and achieve objectives; overcoming resistance to organizational change
initiatives.
The student should also have developed and received feedback on subject-specific skills: giving and receiving feedback;
evaluating performance; using tools for individual and team assessment; designing and leading effective teams.
It’s also expected that the student should have practiced and improved general skills: effective communication (written,
verbal); teamwork; critical thinking; reflexivity; self-understanding.
