Supervised Teaching Practice Seminar in the Teaching of English and Spanish

Objectives

a) Reflect on the work of the Foreign Language educator
b) Demonstrate the ability to research and read relevant literature.
c) Relate and articulate concepts and readings with one’s educational practice.
d) Reviews the literature critically and displays professional and personnal self-assessment competence
e) Display learning and openness to change through a process of reflective thinking.
f) Contribute ethically to the creation of a responsible working atmosphere within one’s group.
g) Master the global organization of the text displaying coherence.
h) Write in appropriate scholarly style, respecting quotation and bibliographic referencing norms.
i) Write with objectivity, conciseness and fluency, mastering grammar and spelling.

Teaching method

Presentation and discussion of research questions and issues in teaching Englishas a FL.
Individual and small group tutoring sessions to support the organisation of the research project to be implemented.
