Feature Lab 

Objectives

At the end of the course unit the student is expected to have developed knowledge, skills and competences to:
1) identify, create and conceptualize stories within the scope of "feature journalism";
2) write feature stories and other genres, such as backgrounders, profiles, human-interest or trend stories, and dossiers, for the press (print and online);
3) identify emerging narrative models common to these genres;
4) choose the most appropriate formats to tell a story in a digital environment.
