Teaching method
The Students are divided into groups of 5/6, having to write a Script (fiction or documentary) with 5/8 minutes in length. They have to produce, direct, and edit the respective projects (previously discussed and analyzed in class), with the existing materials at the University, with 60% of practical classes to acquire techniques for handling these materials.
Evaluation method
Evaluation Methodologies - attendance(10%), short film(30%), two written tests(60%)

The light, electromagnetic energy, nature, direction and intensity of light. Key, fill and back light. The Light projectors, lamps, filters. Camera Filters, and properties. Negative black and white film structure. Colour film structure. Formats of film. Sensibility. Exposition. The structure of a Film camera. The CCD and CMOS, different chips for Video cameras. Interlaced and Progressive systems. The Beam Splitter. The Clear Vid Sensor. CMOS chip. Sound – Analogical and Digital. Dynamic microphones and condenser microphones. Omni directional and Cardioids’ microphones. The way to use a boom with microphone. Procedures of Sound register and images on Cameras. Best practices.
