Teaching method
In the seminar sessions the work in progress and preliminary results of the above-mentioned research project are presented and discussed, as well as the students’ progress reports on their bibliographic and empirical research. In the end, each student will submit a short written essay thereon.

Subject matter
Students’ research (bibliographic review, and primary sources and data collection) will focus on two major themes: (a) profile of the Foreign Affairs officials; (b) political and diplomatic elites; (c) organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic and consular network; and (d) decision-making process in foreign policy.
