Ocean Geography

Objectives

a) To recognize the importance of the World Ocean for the functioning of the Earth system and the country;
b) To know how the ocean works and its interaction with the atmosphere and continents;
c) To know the main ocean resources, its importance and main forms of exploitation;
d) Acknowledge the main problems the ocean faces;
e) To recognize the importance of the ocean to Portugal.
