Kings and Gods

Objectives

a) Updating, deepening and systematization of scientific knowledge relative to the the divine conception of kingship and the development and manifestation of the divine in its different utterances; b) Characterization of the major historical sources and reference works of Royalty and the Divine in Ancient Egypt; c) Ability to articulate and relate the events and and the traces archeological, artistic and textual Egyptians with the natural, political, social, economic, cultural and mental features of the Egyptian civilization; d) Acquisition and / or development of tools for the analysis and questioning of the mental and material life of the ancient Egyptian civilization, based on its archaeological, artistic or textual productions; e) Stimulating the appreciation of the artistic and mental values of ancient Egypt, in a scientific, rational and thoughtful way.
