Teaching method
It starts with the work developed by students to reinforce the skills necessary for each stage of the dissertation preparation process. Former students and researchers are invited to share their experiences.
Evaluation method
The following assessment element of the course is considered:
- A reflection on the individual path in preparing the various stages of the project and the impact of the sharing made throughout the semester (through classes, or presentations by former students and researchers) on their own path or choices related to the dissertation (objectives, questions starting point, problems, methodology). This document must demonstrate the use of the bibliography and content explored in class, in conjunction with a self-reflective process on the challenges encountered and how they were overcome, and must not exceed 4,000 words (around eight pages, with bibliography).
The following will be considered as evaluation criteria in this final reflection: a) the reflexivity demonstrated, with a deeper understanding of the questions raised by the bibliography and the contributions of the guests, in light of their own journey (from an epistemological, methodological and ethical point of view); b) presentation and justification of the relevance of the work carried out for the training and development of your master's project; c) creativity and originality of the discussion; c) the organization and coherence of the text; d) clarity of written expression; e) correct bibliographic reference, according to APA, 7th edition.
