PostGraduate in Information Analysis and Management
Education objectives
The Postgraduate Program in Information Analysis and Management aims to train experts and managers qualified to lead and guide information collection, compilation, analysis, and management inside organizations. The analysts and information managers have the vital task of organizing and analyzing information from organizations and translating it into actions to achieve tangible goals. The major goal of this program is to create skills for decision-making support and to promote decision-making improvements in organizations.
The goal of this program is to train technical staff and managers to:

Develop techniques and methodologies for data collection;

Apply various methodologies, tools and computational statistics to explore and analyze information in order to reduce levels of uncertainty associated with decision-making;

Communicate results, in written form or orally, adapting them to the level and interests of the audience.
Applications - 4th call
To complete the application, the applicant must register in NOVA IMS' Applications Portal, fill the form, upload their Curriculum Vitae, pay the application fee (€ 51), and submit the application in the end from July 28th to August 17th, 2023. The selection process is based on the analysis of the applicant's academic and professional curriculum.

Degree pre-requisites
To earn the postgraduate program diploma, it is required to complete 60 ECTS, corresponding to 10 course units.
Conditions of admittance
The requirements for the applications are: a degree in a compatible field (complete until September); analysis of the applicants' academic and professional curriculum.
Evaluation rules
The assessment method will be continuous assessment, i.e. through individual or group work, projects, quizzes, tests/exams, etc.
At the beginning of each academic year, it is up to each teacher of each Curricular Unit (CU) to define how assessment will be carried out in their CUs, and this information is then made available via the student platform.
