Financial Analysis and Management Control
Objectives
Financial Analysis and Management Control provides internal and external stakeholders with the opportunity to make informed decisions regarding investing, and to have a more accurate understanding of the financial status of an entity, and what the main drivers of the business. Financial statement analysis also provides lending institutions with an unbiased view of a business's financial health, which is helpful for making lending decisions. The course intends to provide the basics of Financial Analysis and Management Control and it is divided into four main modules: accounting principles, financial statements, analysis and control and business valuation.

Teaching method
Classes will be theoretical and practical, with a PBL approach. Problem-based learning¿(PBL) is a student-centered approach in which students learn about a subject by working in groups to solve an open-ended problem. This problem is what drives the motivation and the learning.
