Survey Methodology
Objectives
This course includes a wide range of topics about survey methodologies, focusing on the selection of probabilistic samples and calculation of estimates and precision measures. The calculation of the sample size suitable to a specific study is also studied.
With this course Students should be able to select the most appropriate sampling plan according to each situation, and to calculate estimates amd precision measures.

Prerequisites
Domain of concepts and application of descriptive and inferential statistics.

Teaching method
The curricular unit is based on theoretical-practical and tutorial lessons, including presentation of contents (concepts and methodologies), presentation and discussion of practical cases and different methodologies. Classes are oriented towards problem solving and practical exercises.
Evaluation method
First season: 2 Tests - 50% each (minimum grade of 9,5 in each Test, to get approval)
Second season (and special season): Exam - 100%
