Teaching method

In some classes of this course, basic concepts of specific research methods and use of the corresponding statistical software, as well as its programming language, will be explained. Acquired knowledge will be applied in practical exercises. Individual exercises will also be proposed, always using the proposed statistical software.

Evaluation method

In the end of the course, the student will be asked to make an individual assignment in order to evaluate their knowledge acquisition of the LO and CC.

Subject matter

Introduction to the specific research methods and statistical software; CC2 - Introduction to specific statistical software's' working environment and programming language; CC3 - Estimation of different statistical models.
