Bachelor's in Portuguese and Business
Education objectives
The Portuguese-speaking countries are gaining increasing interest from global investors. Some of these countries are among the fastest growing economies in the world, while others possess strategically critical positions. As a result, there is a growing demand for global companies to hire Portuguese-speaking graduates as well as to learn more about Portuguese speaking economies.
Currently, the Portuguese and Business bachelor degree is open to international students who are not Portuguese native speakers and have at least two years of Portuguese Language studies at university level. This program enables students to use business education as a vehicle to further their knowledge of Portuguese while fully immersed in one of Europe’s most captivating capitals and in the exciting atmosphere of a top-ranked international business school.

The Bachelor in Portuguese and Business is a joint program of Nova School of Business and Economics and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Combining the academic excellence and the renowned faculty of both schools, this program offers a unique opportunity to deepen the knowledge in Business and Portuguese Studies. Evaluation rules
The
student’s course evaluation is individual and the final grade on a scale of
0-20.
The course evaluation is continuous, using different methodologies, and may be based on class participation, assignments, tests, and mandatory final exam.
